Appliance Service Technician

Job requirements:

• Languages: English (can understand technical documents )
• Education:      secondary school.
• Experience: 5 years or more in heavy duty and food machines

Responsibilities:

• Install, service, and repair various appliances.
• Advise customers on work performed and condition of equipment
• Swiftly respond to customer calls regarding issues or malfunctions.
• Evaluate and troubleshoot problems
• Provide repair options, estimates, and timeframes to customers, taking into account any product warranties they have.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest appliance technology and parts.

Required Skills & Abilities:

• Able to handle heavy loads, standing for extended periods, and a fast-paced environment
• Able to prepare written estimates of repair costs, plan service routes
• Sufficient experience in and knowledge of appliance repair and installation
• Customer service and communication skills
• Refer to product manuals to repair parts, use testing devices, repair electrical appliances and components
• Ability to work independently and within a team
